In Nelahozeves, for example, take advantage of the offer of boats for rent and then head out on the water, in the direction of Mělník. Once in Melnik, you can dock at the local marina and go sightseeing. The local castle or the lookout tower of the Church of St. Peter and Paul are worth a visit, and you can buy local wines at the local information centre. You can dine at the restaurant Nemý medvěd, where they also brew their own beer. You can spend the night "in Mělník", as the locals say, in a rented houseboat.
The next morning you will set sail from Mělník, your destination will be Roudnice nad Labem. You will sail and dock at the local dock and immediately set off to see the sights of the city. You can get a guide at the Podřipsko Information and Transport Centre. The first thing you want to see is the Lobkowicz Castle, where you can also taste the local wine, and after the castle tour, continue to the Hláska Tower. You can dine in the Ztracená restaurant, and spend the night in the Roudnice dock, again in style in a borrowed houseboat.
On the morning of the third day you will set sail from Roudnice nad Labem towards the royal city of Litoměřice. There you will dock at Strelecky Island and go on a sightseeing tour of the city. We recommend a visit to the Kalich lookout and the local Bishop's Brewery of St. Stephen, where you can also have a meal, then spend the night in a boat in Litoměřice.
Continue further down the Elbe. In Velké Žernosky we recommend a stop and visit one of the local wineries where you can buy the famous Žernosecká wine. Then continue downstream past the Žernosec vineyards and through the picturesque Porta Bohemica valley. Sometime during the afternoon, you will reach Dolní Zálezel, where you can dock and spend the night at a local marina.
You are sailing towards Ústí nad Labem. Anchor in front of the Masaryk Lock and set off for a tour of the dominant landmark of the Elbe Valley, Střekov Castle. After the tour, it is time to go back to Nelahozeves, where you need to return the rented boat in the following days (further stops and possible overnight stays according to time possibilities - 6th and 7th day).
Become a boat captain without any exams or licenses. The rental company offers two identical Viking 26 houseboats for rent, which you can drive without any license or exams.
