The Slalom Canal has been standing in Roudnice nad Labem since the 1960s.
The artificial water channel is 250 m long, located on the right bank of the Elbe and is used for slalom and downhill rafting, rafting and rodeo.
The local slalom club trains on the course. The water is usually released from 4 pm to 6 pm. However, thanks to artificial lighting , the canal can also be ridden in the dark. For a larger group of people it is possible to let the water go at any time, just contact the canal managers.
The Slalom Canal in Roudnice nad Labem is not only for racing canoeists, but can also be used by the public.

One of the services is the possibility to use the canal in the evening, when the lighting along the slalom canal is turned on for you. The minimum number for this event is 5 people.
The entire channel bed is equipped with rails for attaching RapidBloc English barriers. There are nearly 10 kilometres of tracks on the canal bed in total. Other costly equipment of the artificial track includes a convertible playspot (a roller designed especially for freestylers) or, for example, a crossing flap in any flow conditions.
