Summer paddling camp - ŠÁN The children's organization KONDOR, ŠÁN group is preparing two summer paddling camp on its island on the Elbe River near Roudnice nad Labem. The camp is for everyone who likes to move, is between 7 and 15 years old and has at least the basics of swimming (you can't avoid water on the island).

Fifty-six children participate in both tours, divided into four sections of two crews each. The crews compete against each other in a full-camp game. Each crew takes care of its own nine-canoe, on which we sail around the Shan and play most of the full-camp games. The program is sports oriented, taking into account the possibility of using the available boating equipment. We also use (fiberglass and plastic) dinghies, kayaks, singlecanoes and a few other treasures we come across in the boathouse for training. Other opportunities include demonstrative lessons in eskying and improving your swimming skills. We'll lend complete paddling equipment to newcomers free of charge.
The island is located on the 805th river kilometer of the Elbe River near the village of Hrobce. Until 2008 it was the 32nd river kilometer, may the water be easy for him. The shan is about 1 km long and about 60 m wide at its widest point. Sleeping in tents, the children receive five meals a day in a light-filled laminate dining room connected to our new brick kitchen.
