The mountain is visible from afar, rising to 456 m above sea level with a Romanesque rotunda on the top. The legend of the arrival of the Czech forefather is related to Říp Mountain. It has been one of the basic symbols of the Czech nation since time immemorial. From the summit lookout points, you can enjoy distant views of the Bohemian Central Highlands or the deep forests of the Kokořín region.
