From the middle of the 13th century to the end of the 15th century, the old castle of the Přemysl dynasty, served as the castle of Czech queens. We are reminded of the Gothic period by the chapel of St. Ludmila.
In the middle of the 16th century, the castle was transformed into a Renaissance chateau. The gallery of Italian, Dutch and Czech masters shows us some of the jewels of the Baroque era. The interiors contain the Lobkowicz family collections, such as a collection of maps of all European cities of the 17th century. A tour of the castle's wine cellars is possible and it includes tasting of their own wines.
