Veltrusy Chateau was built at the beginning of the 18th century by Václav Antonín Chotek and represents an important work of the High Baroque style. The chateau consists of a main building with a higher cylindrical core, from which four one-story wings protrude.
On the north side there is a monumental two-winged staircase with beautiful sculptures .
Inside you will see breathtaking decorations and furniture in Baroque and Rococo style. You can also spend pleasant moments in a large English-style park with a number of romantic small buildings and sculptures, which were created at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
