The ruins of Blansko Castle are located on a prominent hill near Ryjice near Ústí nad Labem.
The remains of the medieval settlement, which was built at the end of the 14th century by the Lords of Vartenberg, are visible on the site today. The castle served as a residence until the end of the 16th century, but was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War and gradually fell into disrepair. The relics of the perimeter walls of the palace, the tower and the bastion have been preserved from the listed building.
The Blansko Castle spire is accessible from several places. The yellow trail leads from the village of Blansko, the green trail from Mirkov or further on from Ryjice, where both colours run parallel.
