Milesovka

Milešovka also boasts several other "best". It is the windiest mountain with the most thunderstorms in our country and therefore it is called the Thunder Mountain. The view from it is considered one of the most beautiful not only in the Czech Republic. It exceeds its surroundings by a respectable 350 m and thus offers an ideal circular view. On the top there is a lookout tower, a meteorological station and a permanent workplace of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the CAS. After climbing to the top through the Milešovka National Nature Reserve, which is also a NATURA 2000 site of European importance, it is possible to spend pleasant moments in the tourist facilities and refresh yourself in the mountain hut.

Cottage Milešovka

We operate the Milešovka Cottage on the same mountain of the Bohemian Central Highlands.

• Monday-Thursday: closed
• Friday: 18.00-20.00
• Saturday: 9.00-19.00
• Sunday: 9.00-17.00

Offer: basic refreshments - soup (while stocks last), hot sausages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (beer Special Milešovka 11 from Biskupský pivovar Litoměřice), confectionery, additional sales.

Card payments are possible. In case of payment in EUR the exchange rate is: 23 CZK / 1 €. We do not accept meal vouchers or vouchers.

Which way to Milesovka?

You can reach the summit from several ascent points:

• from Bílka - 2.1 km along the red hiking trail (parking lot)
• from Milešov - 2.5 km along the red hiking trail (from the playground)
• from Velemín - 5 km along the blue hiking trail
• from Černčice - 2.3 km along the blue hiking trail
• Lovoš-Milešovka - along the blue hiking trail from peak to peak - 12 km
